Typing lowercase letters on TI84 plus CE

 According to Texas Instruments, it's not possible to type lowercase letters on the TI84. Their website clearly states:

It is not possible to enter lower case letters directly on the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus family of graphing calculators.

Upper- and lower-case letters may be entered by using the  NoteFolio™ App for the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus Family .

The NoteFolio App will work with the TI Keyboard; however, it is important to note that the TI Keyboard will not enter lower case letters on its own.

But that is simply not true.

Her's what you have to do:

1. Press mode
   
   
   
   
2. Choose a language other than English.
   
   
   
   
3. Don't forget to press “up” to confirm the choice.
   
   
   
   
4. Go to “Catalog” (2nd + 0).
   
   
   
   
5. Select the first option. If you selected Spanish (Español) like I did, it should be “Caracteres”
   
   
6. You should see a screen that allows you to type lower case. Test it out.
   
   
   
   
   
7. Quit that application (2nd + mode)
   
   
8. Press mode, again, and change the language back to English.
